confusion

who know life and death could
switch lanes so fast when
we're going down a two way road,
moving in slow motion.

how you can be driving down that road
and have death cross the line
and take a life so unexpectedly..


so unexpectedly...
usually life crosses over to death,
death doesn't cross over to take life,
so why was this the case last night?

last night, one of my good friends had something
taken from him that mean the world to him.
I'd never met her, but from how he talked about
her, she meant the world to him, as anyone who
knew him would agree. a friend that night during
our game told me that they were "perfect for each other"
what could cause something so drastic and life changing?

it hit close to home, and showed me how
the precious things in life that mean the most
to us, can come and go with out warning,
without saying a word. leaving us dumbfounded as to why.
we're in this life once, and its up to us
to live for God. We don't know when our time will come.
Will you be satisfied with your relationship with God
if you weren't able to better it tomorrow?
